I spent most of today at the new annexe of the Air and Space Museum. More accurately, I spent a lot more time on public transport, first getting to the annexe, then back to the other museums, then out to the venue for the Joan Baez and Indigo Girls concert, then back to the hostel. I finished marking student assignments yesterday: it would have been last week but for one student suddenly realizing that he'd only submitted his first essay to turnitin and not to me. Returned home last night, to the news that I've sold Greek translation rights to 'Line of Defence' to Eleftherotypia.

Not jet-lagged (only one hour time difference between Tokyo and here), but am still catching up: will write something resembling a trip report (with photos) later.

Arrived safely last night. Off to Akihabara (Otaku Central) today, Harajuku tomorrow.

Flying out to Hong Kong tomorrow night to give some lectures, then to Tokyo for a short break, so I'm not likely to be online much for the next week (not that the difference will be immediately obvious to readers of this page, I admit).
