I'm not sure when it happened, and I can't pinpoint the cause, but my job has become one giant clusterfuck of disappointment and defeat.  I'm so sick of giving people bad news day after day, especially when any glimmer of good  news turns out to be a lie.

Weird.  I just applied for a second job for absolutely no reason.  I think I might be nuts. 

After an 11 hour drive over the mountains, I arrived in Spokane.  Wtf?  Since when does it take that long to drive from Tacoma to Spokane?  Oh, maybe when chains are required and cops are stopping traffic in the pass and you have a Prelude and you've never put on chains.  Thank God there was that youngish Canadian family that stopped to help me.  ( Read more... )

I'm glad I checked our itinerary this morning - our trip to vegas is in JANUARY, not February.  As it turns out, I'm just a retard. 

 So after all of that bitching I got a raise today.  A guaranteed raise of $3000 for the next 12-18 months, with bonuses quarterly based on the revenue my accounts bring in.

I guess it can't be ALL bad working here.

Seriously.  I'm a good person, right? Why, oh WHY do I work for morons? 
The majority of the management in this place is completely out of control.  And by "majority" i mean two people in particular out of like...5. We're a small company, deal.
