We've dropped my puppy off at the pet hotel.
We've packed our bags.
Our shuttle bus is scheduled.

Tomorrow we fly to Hawaii (Oahu, specifically) to celebrate my dad's retirement with my whole family for two weeks.

I quit my job at Verizon Wireless, and accepted a position with Seattle Nuclear Medicine.

I'm pretty happy with that. :)

I don't think I've ever been THIS afraid to work for a company before, and I know I've never felt stuck like I do now. Most week nights I wake up either having a nightmare or some form of panic attack, and on those nights when I do sleep through, I wake up with the most forboding feeling imaginable ( Read more... )

The Dow plunged today, but I made money. I like that feeling.

So, I'm actively searching out a 2nd job. I'd like weekends only, and/or some evenings & one weekend day. I'd also like something really, really low-key and brainless with very little responsibility. Think high-school type jobs.

If anyone knows of any employers hiring for that type of work in the south King County area, let me know.Seriously
