Man, I LOVE how good you are at dialogue, how it figures into a fic like this that could have just been angsty, undirected sex but instead becomes this ongoing progression. Not from point A to B, but more like along the yellow brick road or maybe down the rabbit hole? *G*

As always, your last few lines are so fucking AWESOME! :D

ZOMG, thank you. I can't believe I finally wrote something.

I'm very glad that it felt like a progression rather than just angsty sex. I was going for the former, so I'm pleased that it came across that way.

And the last line occurred to me fairly early on while writing this, so I was building toward that most of the time I was working on it.

Yay! Did it! Back on the horse-- just it's travelin at a slow amble rather than a gallup. ;-)

sigh. boys. broken but wonderfully un-broken. The fact that there is words and not silence and kisses instead of blows is a shift in itself. yes, they're both radically fucked up separately, but together they're working right then. (and o darn. boys. hot sexx0r. :-p BTW, boys on knees together somehow always so v.v.HOT )

Thank you! Of course, now the question is: can I *stay* on the horse?

I'm very interested in how the events of this season have shifted the dynamic between them, and how it changes when the source of the tension is mainly coming from external forces, rather than from their issues with each other. I like the idea that they *can* learn from the past, and that they can take steps, however tentative, toward really learning how to communicate with each other.
