I had a fantastic weekend. I spent the weekend showing kaidevis around some of my favorites places here in Boulder, and the general locale. He flew in to visit last Friday and we tootled around much of the countryside, places close here to the house and places farther away such as Rocky Mountain National Park. I'm going to be re-working my lj over the next little bit of free time before my semester starts. This is going to include removing (privatizing) posts of old as well as re-organizing my friends list. Some people are going to be removed and others will stay. Got the wood pile moved and the last areas of spackle work done this afternoon. Also got the flashing along the front of the house re-secured with an exuberant number of nails. It should not pop itself loose anytime soon. :-) Got another wall sanded, that leaves 5 wall faces total on the house and cottage left to sand down. Then I got back through ( Read more... ) -
Progress
I have been making rapid progress on the house-prep project. I've got one small corner to clear things away from and finish spackle work on the main house, along with a couple boards to re-secure to the house and then spackle/caulk them. One spot on the back of the cottage still needs attention but I need to relocate the wood pile from where it ( Read more... ) -
