playing dress-up

Hey guys! I've been working on a few "characters" (as it were), and though the outfits are nowhere near complete, I found some makeshift pieces and got the urge to dress up! So here is my incomplete (and so far unnamed) steampunk villain outfit

I love it! I especially like those glasses, which are just wild. I'm shooting a Steampunk gunfighter/monster hunter vs. steamy vampire in two weeks and I really like the semi-western look you've got here. I really want to find some glasses like that as a prop.

Thanks! I didn't think it would come off so Westernish, but I do like it. =D I found the glasses at a local thrift store, but my friend got the same pair a month earlier and I'd seen another pair at another store a few months earlier than that. So I'm guessing they can be sold in bulk somewhere, or passed on to thrift stores! I was so sad I passed them up the first time, they were colored differently (gold with green lenses) and perfect for a different outfit.

I'll have to keep my eye out for more, maybe I can pass them on to folks here! =D

Another villian! Yes! We, my fellow miscreant, are sorely outnumbered. The outfit is infernally good - not a foot out of step. The glasses are especially marvellous.

I know! It's funny, my "main character" is an adventurer-explorer, but this outfit was so fun because with the vest and gloves it just felt classy. >;D

I love the glasses too! It's funny, though; you can't tell in the pictures, but the pants were just something I pulled out of the back of my closet. They didn't fit all the way! The very top didn't zip up, but luckily that's hiding under the shirt and everything. ;P

Thanks! I just threw the belt on there because I thought it needed something, and afterwards I realized it is actually very fitting. =P
