A little steamy knitted shrug

I knitted this up since I get cold very easily and I wanted something that would give me a few more options with the "explorer in Mongolia" outfit theme I've been running with as of late. That and I really like how it turned out and thought I would share the result.

I like it! It's got a steamy feel to it, as well as a vaguely eastern sense as well.

Also, I'm envious that the color looks so lovely on you! I adore that teal, but it looks like nyaaargh on me. :D

Thank you!:D If I were to choose another color to do this in I think I would chose a bright red, blue or magenta. I think I'd also try something felt-able for added texture.

Very nice! As young_raven said, it's got a slightly Asian feel as well as a sort of steampunk-military edge. Perfect for the explorer in Mongolia.
