A couple things of interest in PDX

Been lurking for a while, first-time poster--wanted to share a couple of things of interest here in Portland.

First, I did a brief write-up over on my LJ (with a few not-that-great photos) of a vintage/salvage hardware store in SE PDX that not only has tons of antique brass gears and other goodies, but the owner has also recently discovered

Cool! I have often seen that store but never ventured in. I will remedy that this week. Any idea what's going to be shown at the film festival?

If you look through the last few weeks' worth of posts it looks like they've been posting films and shorts as they've been accepting them. They just don't have everything put into a final schedule yet, to my understanding.

Not at all, if you click on the banner you'll be taken to the website which features information about the various films being shown :)

Oh, the CST. I have many a fond memories of that place, and some not so fond ones. The seats are uncomfortable as all hell, the floor is often slippery/sticky, and if it gets too hot, be prepared to smell everyone around you, even the people that were there YEARS before. And the sound quality of the movies varies; sometimes it's okay, sometimes it just sucks.
