We just received our DVDs of Terry Pratchett's Going Postal yesterday. It's a very lovely adaptation of the book with lots of nice brassy gizmology in the Clacks machines (semaphore machines used like the telegraph system) and Victorian-inspired costuming throughout - frock coat suits, bustled dresses, etc, with lots of care to make things look

we got this movie and ordered it from overseas, I love everything about it! I think the actors did a great job, and I think that they stayed really true to the feeling of the book, I also think that they created something that people who have never read a disk book can get into, and I wanted to hug those golems!

oooo I need to have this one for my collection. Going postal was one of my fav. discworld novels. I hope they will bring out Guards! Guards! too ^___^
