First personal style, type post!

I'm very thrilled with this outfit, less thrilled with the photo, but oh wells...Ignore cheesy mirror photo-ness, I've got nobody to take pictures of me.

Thanks. I love dupionni too, but I never have enough excuse to use it. The vast majority of my sewing is period correct 19th c. stuffs, and dupioni isn't a period correct weave. Thus, I sneak it into fantasy, steampunk, normal clothes, etc whenever I can.

Very nice outfit, and the photo ain't bad. Yayz for Steamy colour! I believe you're using a phone? If you have a camera, it likely has a timer function. My steamfashion inaugural post has my portrait taken by me with a tripod-mounted camera using a 10-second delay [and, yes, I used many electrons for just the right pose]. But I recently took a good group shot in a hotel breakfast room by using a counter-top for the camera, the delay again allowing my presence.
Hmm...that is an outstandingly gorgeous vest.

I've got a Nikon D50, and I've made extensive use of its timer function for my costume portfolio and the like. Unfortunately, I'm in the process of moving, so nothing's readily accessible.
