First finished D*Con costume!
Yesterday was productive. I applied for a job as a cheese specialist and I finished my first new costume for Dragon Con. It's a Florentine-inspired gown. Not entirely historically accurate, but my intent was mostly to experiment with pattern drafting and have something pretty. Hey, it's still closer than anything from Assassin's Creed

First a few life things. I'm in the process of moving into an an apartment, just me. No pets (yet) or roomies. I'm going to be asking my landlord if I can have a kitty. Also, I'm getting started on a Florentine gown. I'm using a lovely rusty orange silk. Progress pics later.
