Library of Congress recognises Steampunk

Steamy book-geeks may realise that the L of C, who create the standard subject headings used in most library catalogues in English speaking countries, are generally very slow to update their terminology. Can't wait to share this info with my school librarians! My elementary students know that I'm into Steampunk and Steampunk literature, so now they'll know where to find it at school!

Too bad the library where I am a librarian doesn't have fiction in the collection....I guess I'll have to go to other libraries and drool over their subject headings (wow, I think I out-geeked myself there!).
