Early Iron Man, nay Brass man?!!

I just created this bracer/armband for myself, and wanted to see if anyone had some opinions on it. Well, I'm sure you have opinions, but let's make this constructive people! I am gearing up 2 more outfits along with my original outfit to be ready for the World Steam Expo in May. Hope I can see you there ( Read more... )

The valve at the front of the device gathers aethyric energy from within myself, processes it through the initial coil and pumps it into the vacuum chamber where the tube powers it up and ejects the energy through the coil spring down to the miniature gatling attachment which then fires it as a small bead of energy which explodes on impact.

A first line of defense for any explorer, or airship pilot. It never needs recharging, and only requires that the wearer be well-rested and healthy!

Oh, btw... suggestions for your wife's knitted works... I've seen knitted dread falls and some people who wear those Radar O'Reilly type knitted army caps with their goggles. She could make knit newsboy caps. I've seen knit spats and aviator caps. And cuffs and fingerless mitts. Okay, well, that's enough! lol!

Actually she is making a number of different arm-warmers that look quite promising! I'll announce when they are up and ready, because I know they will be loved!
