As I sit here at my day job, I am reminded time and again as to why I enjoy making the Steampunk items I have come to love so much. The freedom and creativity of it is something that simply can't be attained at most day jobs. Well, it's been a slightly eventful week or so since last post. I was able to get a little bit of shopping in and find some new parts to use in the creation of goggles and such. There will probably be 9 new pairs up in the shop by the end of the week, along with a few other things.

Well, I'm somewhat excited as Dawn has gotten some of the new armwarmers and gloves finished and now we have them posted up in the shop. They are extremely cool, and I hope she makes many more!!

Apparently having time at home while sick allows for a lot of time to make new things for the shop and for myself. I've discovered that there are many things I had that could be used on cuff-links, but I most enjoy using vintage typewriter keys. There is something just classy about how it looks.
