Dad's amazing gifts!

I can't believe it and just had to share. A couple weeks ago, I traveled south to visit my folks. My dad, upon hearing about my interests in Steampunk, disappeared to his room for a few moments. When he returned, he was carrying a box, slightly the worse for wear and covered with a thick layer of dust.

Any idea how he came to have them? Old family heirlooms? Junk he thought was cool?

He's always carried a pocket watch (still does), so these are ones he's picked up over the years. Some are truly incredible. I'll try to get some closer up shots posted soon!

Heh heh. I'll admit that I wore the hat around the house for the remainder of the day and part of the next. It fits so perfectly and I just love it. When I returned home, I gave it a good brushin' and it cleaned up really nice. Can't wait to wear it on my next outing.
