A bit more proper
I posted the spigot walking stick last night, but I also wanted to post about the far more proper walking stick I made for my husband to use.
I've also been convinced to reproduce the spigot cane for sale. If you are interested, please contact me or comment here as I don't have them up in my shop yet.
As you can see, ahem, the shaft on his is somewhat thicker.
This is the classic opera T handle. While a knob handle is probably better for stickfighting, this walking stick would be quite formidable.
You can probably see, in that last picture, that I fashioned a bit of red stopper on the bottom of the finial of the spigot - that didn't come through in the other pictures so well.
I must admit, I love how elegant this other one looks. I do wonder if I could convince him that he needs a wardrobe of walking sticks....
