Progress of sorts!

Since I didn't have the cash to work on the actual body of my Von Grelle ensemble, I worked on accessories when I had time. Well I'm happy to say that A. I HAVE [a little] money now to make my corset! and B. I completed one of the gauntlets and my shako! Please pardon the shotty quality of my photos and the umm... stark contrast between my made up

Can't wait to see it done. That is going to be one heck of an outfit. I especially love the red and black stripey feathers on the hat and the stripey collar on the bodice. Gauntlet is awesome as well.

Where'd you get the eye patch?

Thanks, and that's just the tank top I wore so I could stay monochromatic.

The eyepatch was bodged together from a few leather belts (various parts of the strap), a bit of chain, a few decorative studs, and the patch itself is fashioned from the toe of a combat boot I'd worn to pieces. (the toes rock for patches, they're already nice and convex!)
