I just went up to the local chemist near work for some diabetic stuffs.
While I was browsing around, I found these crutch grips. Nice soft rubber grips for crutches. They're designed for underarm crutches, but if they don't fit mine, it'll be easy enough to modify them, even if I have to cut them open and gaff them on.

Science strikes again
*sighs* The wonders of scientific enquiry. A study in the current issue of the Nutrition Journal has observed young women over ten years, and measured vitamin C levels in the blood as well as blood pressure.
They've found that the higher the blood levels of vitamin C, the healthier their blood pressure tends to be, which is all well and good.

*sigh* It's going to be an expensive new year. I've bought a shiny new camera, which is lovely; but just after we got back my desktop compy died. As far as we can tell the power supply has failed. (It died when I was playing a death knight in WoW - apparently they really are just that awesome ( Read more... )
