Work party, dinner-of-doom and a fire show
We are holding two work parties (on Sunday, June 28 & Sunday, July 5) to get our place ready for elocinnuala & jormundgan 's wedding. No phone, no Internet, no fair
Arggh... enough already with the Major Technical Failures... Last week it was my Mac's hard drive; now both of our land lines are now dead, along with our DSL service. (I'm posting this from my cell, which is currently still functioning.)
On the bright side, we do still have electricity (though I hesitate to say that too loudly...)

a rotten Apple
I am seriously bummed: my MacBook's hard disk has died. Although we have tried many things to revive it and/or retrieve my data, the drive is just not responding to *anything*.
