They’d got someone new in. Anila approved of the purple spotty mug. It was cheerful. She finished rinsing and set it to dry alongside Plain Black, Promotional Freebie and the delicate porcelain cups and saucers of the Big Bosses.
British Museum hadn’t been used in months and when Anila looked it was pushed right to the back of the cupboard behind Jurassic Park, Princess Leia and Arsenal. There were other mugs hidden there - a second basic black and couple bearing university logos in red and in blue. Anila sometimes wondered why their owners left.
She hoped Polka Dots would stay.
