The weekend is almsot over already! Yikes! I didn't get much done!

Friday night I went to the Whitney Museum in NYC with my mom and two of her friends. The four of us are a little 'museum group' and we have been to three different museums together thus far. I like it. It gets us out and about in the city and to see all these different exhibits ( Read more... )

Sweeney Todd=excellent. However, it is really gory, so if you have to turn your head for most of Braveheart, you might not enjoy it so much. Personally, I'm a pretty big fan of a good zombie flick, so I generally have no problem with gory, but Sweeney Todd actually surprised me with how much blood there was. Just a warning.

Hm. Interesting. I know the story line since I'm somewhat familiar with the broadway show, but really? That bloody? Yikes!

Braveheart especially bothered me when the horses got speared in battle scenes. hahaha

Haha yeah, seeing animals get hurt bothers me too. Maybe Sweeney Todd isn't really that bad, and I've just turned into a softie or something, but I did think it was pretty bloody. However, Johnny Depp is really really amazing in it.

Oh I can DEFINITELY commiserate on the pet/tree issue. I think my cat thought that since we had a Christmas tree, it must be okay for her to pee under it. UGH! I spent the past 2 weeks cleaning cat pee out of our CARPET! And that doesn't come out. Thankfully it was on our throw rug and not the apartment carpet. We're moving so we can just throw out the rug, but still.. arg.

I feel the same way about Braveheart. I couldn't watch most of it either. Way too gory/graphic, just not the kind of movie for me!

Animals and trees. It is funny. And our puppy tried to eat ornaments too. Nothing that would harm him, but the bottom of the tree can't have ornaments and we clean up dog pee.
