The other day I made a beaded tree ornament from a craft kit I found while cleaning out my craft room. Very exciting - I'm pleased with the way it came out. The kit also has the supplies to make another one, which I have started. My fingers are starting to hurt from pushing all these pins though!

This weekend has been super busy. Friday after work in the art gallery signaled the start of spring break for me. Spring break from classes I should say, since I still will be working obviously.

So, after work on Friday, Dave and I went to pick up take-out Italian (so yummy!) We ate with his parents and then he and I went ice skating.

Yesterday I finished knitting the right glove, with the exception of the thumb. Hopefully after work I can do that. Then they are totally done! Yey! It's my first pair of gloves, and that makes me happy!

My FIT class ring came in the mail yesterday. Here is a picture of me at work today taken on my macbook of me wearing the ring. Yey!

The weekend is almsot over already! Yikes! I didn't get much done!

Friday night I went to the Whitney Museum in NYC with my mom and two of her friends. The four of us are a little 'museum group' and we have been to three different museums together thus far. I like it. It gets us out and about in the city and to see all these different exhibits ( Read more... )

Things have been super busy around here lately! For the past three days, I have spent my morning to afternoons painting my great aunt's den. I finished it yesterday and it looks lovely.
