Week in Review: Election Day/ RooG's birthday

Nov 09, 2012 19:03

A pretty uneventful week. It went by fast!

On Monday the ramen shop Ippachiya was giving away coupons for a free plate of gyoza... so we each got one to go with our bowl of ramen. Delicious but of course I didn't feel so hot after I was finished. So oily. >_<

Your foot looks super tiny in that picture because of the angles XD

Another of the reasons I made my journal friends only was to get rid of the spam messages. I only ever get them on public entries.

Happy Birthday to RooG!!. I think my parents must be Japanese as they have never ever made a big deal out of birthdays or holidays. :-|

Congrats on Insanity!! You look very proud (as you should be). I *finally got back to spin class last night and burned 975 calories according to my hr monitor.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROO-G! I'm glad to hear that all is going well :)

I, too, am just as happy as can be that the terrorists Republicans didn't win on Tuesday.

There's a spamidemic going on. If you're still getting spam comments, just make me a list and I can get rid of the accounts for you.

Thanks for the birthday wishes! :)

As for the spam, unfortunately the vast majority of them are from anonymous commenters. I suppose making my comments only open to LJ users would solve the problem, but... I don't wanna do that. ;_;

That could very well be part of it! I think the other part is that most of them just don't care. ^^;;;;

HAPPY BIRTHDAY POOG!!!!!!!!!!

Oh man I'm just imagining all the people on the train giving you the side-eye. XD I wouldn't care either. We had a party and made a night of it. I can't imagine trying to deal with it alone! D:

I miss Ippachiya so much. T_T Seriously I went there at least once a week like... pretty much the whole time I lived in Higashi-Totsuka. I went there so much that I'm friends with one of the ramen cooks on facebook. ^^; It became a ritual for me to go there after work on Tuesdays (I think? Or was it Wednesdays?!) and listen to the new "This American Life" episode. I swear to you on a stack of bibles that to this day whenever I hear Ira Glass's voice I get a craving for that ramen.

THANKS MAN!

Yeah it really sucked being alone on that train! There was no one to share in my joy. ;_;

Wow I had no idea you went to Ippachiya that much!! Does the ramen cook guy post a lot, I wonder? I DO love Ippachiya, but did you ever make it over to Kookai? That place has the best bowl of ramen in HT, in my humble opinion. It's less oily than Ippachiya and has more of a variety of flavors, I think. :)

Also, I'm bummed about the girl that went home on the most recent ep of ANTM. :C

Nah he pretty much just "likes" basketball shoes every few days. Nothing terribly interesting. ;) I did go to Kookai with you guys a few times, but for some reason it kind of upset my stomach each time. I dunno why. I was having stomach issues for a while, though, and never really found a cause. Just some foods/restaurants really got me. :(

I'm pretty surprised about her leaving. I thought she was going to win for a while!
