Oct 21, 2012 19:57

This weekend was nice. :) Friday night we decided to go out for dinner. We had all-you-can-eat yakiniku at Gyu-Kaku. Ate too much, of course. It was delicious. ;_;

EEEeee, Hunger Games is here?! How do I miss these things? Seriously.. you'd think I'd been trapped in a tatami room practicing...
Oh wait. I have.

I have mixed feeling about Hunger Games. While reading the series I kept on thinking 'this is really not all that great, and not well written', but somehow couldn't put the books down. Like junk food, I guess?

What have you been practicing for? I'd check your blog, but... I'm so sorry, I seem to have misplaced the link. :/ Can you tell me one more time? I'll be sure to bookmark it this time. ^^

I haven't read the books so I can't say whether or not it's a good adaptation, but we enjoyed the movie! If you wanna see it, you'd better hustle. I think it'll be gone from theaters pretty soon as it wasn't very successful in Japan, sadly. ;_;

Hi there!

Thanks for the tip!
Why am I not surprised that a movie about a girl who can fend for herself, protect her man and generally not waltz around like a disoriented fairy isn't doing well in Japan... le sigh.

My blog is Move Over Godzilla (blogspot), and I am practicing for a koto concert in early November :)

The girl at the table next to us ordered a hamburger, and then proceeded to eat ONLY the toppings, leaving the bun and the meat. Huh??

What? That doesn't make any sense. Why did she bother going there in the first place?

Is Ikeda-san a professional pet sitter? That sounds like a good idea, because if you pay somebody you KNOW that they're gonna do their job, and you don't feel bad imposing on someone...and as you said, it's less stressful for the pets!

Yay yaki niku :D
