All your favorites merchandise is still here. The barker proudly announces that Akihiko merchandise is now half price. Since that person has been dropped from the Hades Cup Tournament items bearing their likeness are on sale and the vendor will be actively hunting people down to buy them! He does not take a simple no for an answer. I hope you want those 40 Akihiko mugs he is trying to make you buy.
Sephiroth was coming back down after his conversation with Genesis when he saw the cat-like creature huddled down beside the souvenir stand. It looked about as lost and uncertain as he felt after what Genesis had told him about himself. Crossing the small distance toward the stand, he ignored the vendor in favor of investigating the animal he'd found. From the way it was trying to hide and the distress it showed he had his doubts it belonged here

As always the stands are filled with the bloodthirsty. Those who want to see death and destruction more than anything else. Those ones for whom simply destroying a opponent will never be enough, they want to watch him suffer! Or… maybe they would just like to see a fun, friendly and interesting competition amongst their friends. Which ever. Sit back, relax, have a good time and buy a few peanuts from the vendor, ok? He has a family to support.
And again the benefactor of this competition makes his presence known by appearing in his ‘royal box’. This time he hopes to see a little mayhem and get some insight into where that kid went with his puppy! Want to make a deal or pass along a little ‘where is the thief’ information? The minions will be allowing people to approach this time around.
Tidus had heard enough from Leon to know Hades was bad news. He didn't even need to hear it...the guy screamed shady bad guy. Despite this, he approached him anyway, rudely ignoring his minions.
Hades looks up from watching the activities going on the stadium floor.
“Some one just brushing past security like that. Why do I keep you boys around if you can’t even announce when some one is coming?” But, as the minions shrink away Hades puts on his best ‘used car salesman smile’ for Tidus, “You must have a good reason for blowing past the minions, so what it is? What can I do for you?”
Tidus refrained from snorting at Hades' smile, his own expression determined and void of any of his usual cheerfulness. Not one for small-talk when his mind was set on something, he went straight to the point. "I want to make a deal with you. You said you had information."
Yuffie vs. Tidusblitz_acingJuly 12 2011, 14:53:47 UTC
"So I'm going against that cocky girl," Tidus mused to himself before stepping into the arena. He had known better than to not expect much when he had witnessed her fight before. After all, Rikku hadn't been the strongest, but she could be fast and lethal if she wanted. Yuffie seemed similar that way, better even, and he figured he'd have to avoid a lot of annoying sharp pointy objects for this new round.
He was glad to know his opponent would possibly be a challenge to his speed and agility, but he was set on winning. Bouncing the liquid like sword in his hand, he smirked at the girl. "I won't go easy on you!"
Yuffie stepped into her corner and took a long moment to stretch her muscles. This guy might not look like the sharpest tack in the box, but that wicked glint to his sword promised to more than make up for that.
She flashed a lazy smile his direction, this promised to be more than a little fun. "Back atcha, Blondie!"

While Yuffie stretched her muscles, Tidus moved in place with anxious, determined energy. Yuffie looked shorter than he remembered. Either she was really good, or she was about to be really defeated. With what she had shown before, he doubted it would be the latter. He snorted at the blondie comment and took a second to cast Haste on himself, and sprinted at his opponent.
The much awaited second round was about to be underway. Agni was most curious as to who or what they would be facing next. He did not however expect it to be one of the first people he has considered a friend since his arrival here. Zack had been so helpful to him in the beginning, they had both been looking for people who were important to them-- and now they were pitted against one another
( ... )
Oddly enough, Zack's first reaction at seeing Agni on the other side of the arena was one of relief. He didn't really want to go up against Sephiroth - wasn't sure if he could, really - and what sort of bodyguard would he have been if he'd had to fight against Lillisette?
Oh, well. At least it was someone he knew, though he'd never seen the other man in battle before. That'd make it more fun, though - like he ever had a battle plan anyway!
Zack grinned, taking his sword from his back and holding it to his forehead, a gesture of honor he'd long since adopted from Angeal. After a moment, he moved to get into battle stance, a wide grin on his face and speaking before he lunged for Agni.
The unspoken irony being that these two both shared the duty of bodyguard, though Agni's duties also including cooking, cleaning, and other butler related tasks. Had he been pitted against Lilisette or Pluto... it would have been more difficult to justify engaging them in combat

"No holding back!"
