Posting so that LiveJournal doesn't delete my journal. Don't really have much to say. Things are moving along pretty swiftly here. Just three more weeks until the boyfriend and I move to Alabama. Trying to pack with him lying around doing nothing but watching one piece and playing video games is trying, though!

The Rai-kirah Trilogy by Carol Berg was, above and beyond expectations, an excellent read. I fell a little in love with Seyonne, though his blindness often frustrated me. Definitely recommend if you like the fantasy genre ( Read more... ) -

Ahahaha I found my parent's copy of Audubon's Wildlife (circa 1964) stuffed away in a closet. I have font memories of this book from childhood, not the least of which is being scared to death of the illustration of the wolverine and suitably relieved to learn it was a northern animal.
