Ahahaha I found my parent's copy of Audubon's Wildlife (circa 1964) stuffed away in a closet. I have font memories of this book from childhood, not the least of which is being scared to death of the illustration of the wolverine and suitably relieved to learn it was a northern animal. However, I don't recall ever seeing the illustration of a bobcat lying spread eagle and licking his - ahem - parts.
Vastly amused. *hysterics* So fitting of a cat.
I am, of course, confiscating this book. It'll look much better on a shelf than in a closet. :x
