How to get rid of FB/Twitter ticky boxes

As forwarded from ciorstan with great thanks! It is a temp fix until LJ removes the whole crossposting issue. At least now folks wont be tempted or accidentally tab the boxes.

That only affects what you see, not the functionality; I can see them just fine right now as I write. I'm not worried that I'll hit the boxes by mistake (setting it up takes a few steps which I have now undone) but that friends will hit them.

I've tried hitting the box area on other comments when I first saw this, and nothing seemed to happen. I may not have hit them and I can't highlight the area to see if I did hit anything, so if they are still functional (which I can't tell) then at least they aren't visible.

They don't show for you, because you've chosen not to see them. If I look at your posts in my own style (as I usually do) I can see them and use them (if I wanted to, but I don't.)

Here's something I got from another user, in another user who wishes to remain anonymous:

The ticky boxes are no longer displayed only if you view someone's LJ in their style. If viewed in the commenter's style (which is an easy set option) or in the light style (another easy set option), then that line doesn't work, unfortunately.

This little fix didn't work on mine at all. >:-(
