I love the dark blue doublet/jerkin that Francis I wears in "Discours de Ciceron". dalarnahorse123 has a blue that colour for the same period. She will very pleased to see that used.

And I was reading a book on Italian costume, where the dark blue like that was considered a high end fabric of great expense, as it needed indigo and "grain" (kermes or similar I believe) to get such a dark rich blue.
