Slow sewing & thinking ahead.

Well, I don't think I will be finishing my loose gown sleeves before the weekend. I am being slow about things, wanting to do them right. I just finished hand sewing some trim to the armband, and that took the last two nights. I've got too much to do before Saturday, so I will just do what I can as I can, and maybe finish this in time for 12th

For the pair of bodies, you could finish the edges of the front and back at the side seams and then butt them together. Then if you need to let it out you can just undo the stitching there and add a panel on each side without damaging the structural integrity of the original pieces.
