I was wrong about the silk... after a long, over 24 hour bath in bleach... it finally, FINALLY, has mostly disintegrated. There are some small little fuzzy bits, and two long strands of threads (probably from the selvedge), but the rest is gone. Yeah, very rude, even after my apology to the person. I am trying to simply ignore them and try to be better than they are. Trying. Not working too well.

I went down at last Visalia Faire. Barely made it home on Saturday with a pounding head ache, and Sunday I was dressed down right after repast. It was partly my meds and my own health issues, and I have now learned what I need to drink and not drink to keep myself going in the heat. FYI, diet 7-up is as good as Gatorade in dealing with heat exhaustion with less calories, and lots of water alone makes it worse. I will be ready for this coming year.

Yeah, last year was horribly hot. I was so happy the following weekend at Pyrates was a lot cooler and breezy.
