need to log for accountability
didn't pick up the pen today. read a bit. applied to another UVA job. Wondered if I could be an intelligence analyst. cranked up wow & wasted a little time playing 'Fallout Shelter'. Watch about an hour of a Piers Brosnan movie, washed dishes & ferried the kids around. -
made progress today
hammerred my story just a little more into shape today. the characters got a little closer to real & i now know a bit more about their motives. onward. -

onions
straight forward writing. piece of cake. but novels are onions. layers of meaning combined to effectively tell a story that has relevence and meaning in the life of the reader. complex is selling this type of writing short.

OYAN - Characters
So I'm having a bit of trouble visualizing who my principal characters are in the adventure story I'm writing. Robyn suggested thinking of them as D&D characters. Strangely, that might help. -
using iOS Live Journal
Was pleasantly surprised to discover an iOS Live Journal client. Despite the horrid reviews, I'm giving it a go because it does the one thing I need it to: post to Live Journal from my iPhone.

thinking obscurity might work here.
So I've been working to become a writer over the last year. And I need to write my thought out regularly as I work to hone my craft. Facebook has proven to be a poor vehicle for blogging.
