[Yui's sitting out in the arboretum, enjoying the view.]

Oh. Hello again.

Oh hey, you're that girl from the other day. How have things been? I've, uh... [She's clearly fishing for an excuse, anything other than what she was about to say.] I was just looking to make sure everything was undamaged after that attack the other day.

[Although, she does pause at the gardens.] These are really well kept.

Things have been quite nice here as of late...this is a good place, with good people. I like it here.

Yeah, I'm kinda surprised. For being a ship that fights aliens and terrorists and such, most of the people are genuinely good. I think it'll be a good place to be... if I could stop getting lost...

[Jukai walks over to Yui, pausing next to her.] Mind if I join you?

Big O was one of the biggest units in the whole place. Its towering black frame was silhouetted against the walls of the hangar, little lights here and there under its armour plating blinking on and off. Roger was down by its left foot, the panel on the front of it open, and his car pulled out in front of it. Clipboard in hand, Roger was making a round of the inventory of gadgets and ammunition in the vehicle, checking off each thing meticulously. It took him much longer to do than his faithful Norman, but he at least knew what he was doing.

He leaned on the side of the car, sighed a bit. The entire "not having Norman" thing was getting a bit tiresome; he'd never had to maintain his own mech before; even though there were scores of engineers and technicians on the Chalice that did the real repairs and maintenance, he liked to make sure of things himself. Big O's silent form watched him.

[Jukai's been looking at the high side of Big O, and is descending in Roger's general direction; she hops off her board a few feet away from Roger's car.]

This thing is awesome...! You can fit a whole car in here, plus it looks amazing on its own, too!

[She then notices Roger.] Oh, hi there! Is this yours?

By now, Roger was used to people dropping out of the air in front of him. He tapped the pen on his clipboard.

"You could say that, miss," he replied, setting his notes down on top of the car hood. "I've been told Big O chose me, not the other way around, but hey. I'm Roger Smith. And you are...?" he said, straightening his collar.

Jukai Tokura. Nice to meet you, Roger! [The girl moves her hoverboard to her other arm and offers a hand to shake.]

That's interesting, though. A robot that chooses its pilot... sounds like something out of a story!

[Hana had sequestered herself room, focusing more on sketching out ideas and working more on magical formulae... only to stop and blink as she saw Jukai peek inside.]

...Huh? Y-Yes, can I help you?

Oops, sorry, is this your room? I can leave...

[But she's being nosy and looking around a bit while she's here, catching sight of Hana's work and finding herself unable to not comment on it.]

...What are you working on there? Designs for something?

Ah, um... [she wants to hide it all and be protective of it, but she reigns that in and lets Jukai see it.]

...just a few odd doodles here and there. My unit runs on magic and I've just been tossing around a few ideas here and there... that, and it gives me practice...

[Jukai catches the defensiveness and keeps a bit of distance.] Hey, I'm being nosy here. If you'd rather I not look, I'll stay over here.

But that sounds neat. I can't plan beyond having ideas in my head. I could never work out actual designs for anything. It seems like a good thing to be well-versed in. Having any luck?

[Though not as tall, Jukai finds an airplane of all things. The Canopy is open, but no one is around. A voice rings from it.]

"No, Channel three. Your on the open channel."

[Investigate?]

An airplane? Looks fancy, but... it seems a little out of place with all this other big stuff. [She lights up, an idea seeming to come to her.] Ooh, maybe that's the idea! Have the big mecha pull all the attention away, and let the little plane do all the work!

[Jukai approaches the craft and looks around.] Hello? Whose is this...?

"Is someone else on this frequency? Were are you?"

[The other voice seemed to be a little confused]

"You seemed to have dropped into our radio test."

There's a plane in the hangar with its cockpit open. I heard a voice, so I came over to look. Sorry if I'm interrupting!

Itetetetetete.... {A certain detective is having issues getting up from his gurney.] Che, It figures the damn thing never worked. [You might recognize the voice if you never got a good look at his face.]

[Jukai immediately starts to backpedal from the infirmary.] Oops, I really shouldn't be here-

[And then she hears the voice.] You sound familiar... need some help?

[She's pointedly not getting closer yet, though, just standing in the doorway.]
