I had an old man moment today. I get a weird, incredibly painful pulling/tearing sensation in my left arch sometimes, especially in the fall. It used to clear up in a few hours, now it stays swollen for days when it happens. So, I had to buy inserts with major arch support today. here's a place in the core that does pleating for kilts and such stuff professionally. If you e-mail my wife about it, she can tell you where they are and how much they charge.

I know nothing about ironing Hakama, or what the pleats are supposed to look like. For future reference, I'd suggest Careful Hand Laundry at Dupont & Huron - they offer enviro-friendly treatments and have a reputation for being finicky-precise.

Never trust a retailer with "Knob" in their name.

It's a perfectly fine name, if the Odd Jobs involve hitting people with things (ideally, knobs).

The arch thing is exacerbated by calf and hamstring tension. Make sure that yer legs and lower back are stretched properly and it should ease some of that tension. This stuff can lead to achilles tendon problems, so you want to try and nip it in the bud.
