I had an old man moment today. I get a weird, incredibly painful pulling/tearing sensation in my left arch sometimes, especially in the fall. It used to clear up in a few hours, now it stays swollen for days when it happens. So, I had to buy inserts with major arch support today. I hate having them because they make your feet all soft and unable to stand bare on hard surfaces without hurting, but without the arch support that pain keeps coming back over and over. So, one pain or the other.
I hate being an old man.
In other news I sent my Hakama in to be dry cleaned and pressed so the the pleats don't get all fucked up. I can say with confidence that Knob Hill Cleaners on Bloor near Brunswick did a terrible, terrible job. They came back looking really washed out and shitty, and they didn't bother with ironing the pleats in at all. That and it took them 45 mins to find them. Can anyone fix those pleats for me? I'll pay ya a few bucks for it.
