Naruto'd practiced how to smile in the mirror so many times he thought his face might fall off, but it still wasn't working. He tried again for Pallas' sake, and then when his eyes hurt from scrunching them up, he stopped and just tried to curl up one corner of his mouth.
Entering the library, Naruto ghosted past the askew desks and chairs, making his way over to the giggling.
Whatever the reasoning was for Naruto's trouble smiling, Pallas was the one to help bring it out. Or tear it down. Either way, she was there, sitting in the library waiting for the fellow trickster to appear. Upon spotting the head of blond hair approaching, the girl stood up, grinning and waving enthusiastically. She wouldn't tell him about the floor tiles. If the bears got him, that was his problem. "Hi Naruto!"
"Yes!" With that, the blue-haired moved around the table, disregarding the appropriate steps upon the floor. In her hand, she held a small bag much like everyone had received. The hearts were blank. She didn't know why they were blank, but they just were and the headmaster was sort of dodgy with giving explanations. He was such a weirdo.
Pallas opened the bag and held it out to Naruto. "Take one!"
