Rating: PG, for Pallas' Gift
Bounding down the hallway, Pallas carried a small bag of candy hearts clutched tightly in her right hand. The blue-haired acrobat was quite obsessed with the little, blank candies. It was because they were blank that she wanted to do something with them. Writing on them didn't seem to work like she'd hoped it would. Maybe there was some kind of secret! Maybe they made other people act funny if they ate them. She wanted to find out. But, she wasn't going to eat one herself. That would be stupid.
Sliding into a turn, Pallas entered the library. She looked around quickly, sneaking over to a table as if each step might be her last. It was more fun to pretend she was carefully navigating a treacherous booby-trap laden floor, or that large mummies were ready to attack if she moved too quickly. No, mummies smelled funny. Better make it bears. Standing on beachballs. Pallas sat down quietly, save for the giggling brought about by the mental imagery she'd concocted.
