And after last night of being knocked out the minute his head hit the pillow, he was pretty much back to good health. He took a second to flip himself over onto his back and sit up, he took off his shirt before falling asleep so his thin, pale torso was exposed and almost glowed white with the morning sunlight. He yawned and looked around the room, noting a pile of books at the foot of each of their beds, none of them he recognised.
..Huh, that must have been his homework that Swan asked to be picked up. No wonder he’s never seen any of those books before.

Seifer strolled in as casually as can be, looking over the general display of fatigue and sullenness. He flicked his overcoat back like a superhero making a grand entrance. He grabbed a chair nearby, spun it around, and promptly sat himself down near Ren and Swan. "Hmm...a little pale, but that's to be expected with what foolishness you were up to yesterday. Luckily, I was bored enough to help you all out."
Then he turned directly to Swan. "And yet somehow, even with your voice sounding as if its been worked over by a Quidditch bludger, I can tell where the morning sunshine comes from."

Of course, the other was obligated to mention how 'lucky' they were, too. Typical. Genesis still wasn't one to say thanks for something like that, though. So, instead, he said, "Good timing you have." It was the closest thing to 'thanks' he was ever going to manage, he figured.

"I'm not sure about these too... but I, for one, am in the mood for calamari." Swan smiled wryly at the three boys. "Although, perhaps revenge is not the wisest plan..." She looked over at Genesis. "It might be foolish to aggravate the already-jealous invertebrate, don't you think?"
She sighed wistfully and leaned back against the pillows. Her eyebrows quirked at Seifer's words, and if there wasn't already the hint of a smile playing over her lips then there definitely was now. "As always, you have... quite the way with words." She sat up a little. "... I think what Genesis was inferring was 'thank you Seifer. It was much appreciated.'"

Bustling out of his office, Akabane ladled a murky green potion into three mugs, handing them to his three...patients.
They should find that mixture of Pepper-up Potion and an anti-bruising potion rather...interesting in terms of pain. Why, one of his patients had told him it felt rather as though there was a particularly intense fever being contracted and then breaking in under a minute!
And after all, to have 'gotten it on' with the Giant Squid...hm, perhaps it might be wise to seek recourse to the Veritaserum. He was aware that was not a valid reason. Who needed reason to begin a test? Scientific method was more important, after all.
But first, the Fever Potion, as his uncreative ex-patient had dubbed it, to make them a little more...unguarded. It might cure bruises and warm someone up thoroughly, but it wouldn't cure colds. However, his highly stable concoction of Veritaserum and several other Potions might just take care of that resistant virus. Might. He'd have to ( ... )

When Ren had stopped playing his guitar for just a moment and then heard his protest, though, Genesis had the feeling he should be concerned. He peaked out from underneath the blankets, looking for the source of.. whatever it was that bothered Ren all of a sudden. He should have figured. Akabane.
"I'm not drinking it, either," Genesis agreed, though he looked over at Swan when he said it. He wasn't too sure how she was going to feel about this, but they knew by now how she felt about the whole incident already. "I wonder how our lovely ( ... )
