Namine was glad it was sunny again. The weather had been sporadic, at best, this week. Namine may have been somewhat reclusive, but she did enjoy the sunshine when she could get it. She was especially happy to find that it was a little warmer outside. Not that she didn't like the winter, but the approaching spring had it's own appeal to her.
The young fourth year looked at her list again. There were some supplies she needed to pick up, but she should have enough money to pick up some sweets at Honeyduke's as well. Namine decided she would go to the Quill Shop first, stop by the post office, and then go to Honeyduke's to use any left-over spending money there. She wasn't sure who else she would run into...but she was feeling a little happier than the previous week's events would lead you to believe. Probably because she had not been effected by the bout of nightmares like everyone else (though she had been extremely worried for everyone).
A movement caught her eye and Namine looked up to see Cynthia waving to her from across the street. She smiled politely and waved back. It was nice to see that not everyone was feeling down. Cynthia was practically bouncing on her heels. Namine's own happiness was a bit more subdued, but still potent.
"Hello. Nothing really, I was just about to run a few errands and get some much needed supplies." Namine was surprised Cynthia wasn't with Yuma...usually that was who she spent her Hogsmeade weekends with. "What are you up to?"
Outside Gladrags Wizardwear, OpendevilishkaoruMay 4 2010, 05:54:53 UTC
Kaoru decided to actually go to Hogmeade for once and take a good look around Gladrags Wizardwear, that he had heard so much about to check if there was actually anything good within it's shop. Walking through the streets, he made note of places around the town that he might check out later, either by himself or with his brother, if he could find him anywhere.
Letting out a slight sigh he soon found the shop he was told about looking in through the window at what they had for show in the window alone, there weren't that many things of interest that he spotted as he continued to look at the window display.
Flash was, in simple terms, pissed. She shouldn't be as upset about Renji leaving but, after Riku left as well, her boys were slowly dwindling down to nothing. She was now at the point of having nothing other than James Kirk to talk to and everyone with at least an eye and an ear could tell he was chasing after Jaina. Sucked when there was no one left to talk to

Hi back at ya :PdevilishkaoruMay 8 2010, 08:51:58 UTC
He wasn't paying all that much attention until someone had spoken about him standing in front of the door, which he didn't even realize he was in the first place. Stepping to the side slightly he laughed hand to the back of his head "Sorry I was too much into my thoughts that I didn't realize where I was standing anymore."
He had stepped to the side so that they could get into the store "I'm sorry again, I really am, I just tend to think a little too much while I'm at this store."
Frowning at him, Flash just shrugged and muttered, "Whatever." Before walking inside and bee lined straight for the expensive stuff. Silks, satins, velvets. It was most stuff that Flash had no knowledge of and just wore things she thought looked good on her. Most of the time, it was black. Black looked really good on her.
Picking out two robes, she looked back and forth between them, now at the point she hated in shopping. Glancing over at Kaoru, she sighed. Him thinking too much must have meant he liked clothes. "Hey, Thing One out of Two!" She called to him holding up the two things she grabbed to show him, "You like this kind of stuff, what do you think is better?"
Szayel's hidden away in a little corner of the pub, cloak drawn low over his eyes so as not to stick out and end up in trouble. This was his one time a year where he should be allowed this sort of self degredation, and dammit, he was going to do it no matter what. He was already on his fifth mug of... some alcohol, he had long ago stopped caring what the hell it was, and was -- to be utterly blunt -- sloshed.
He raised his mug, toasting it to an individual thousands of miles away.
"Aquí está a usted, Señor mío. Usted siempre pudrición de mayo en el Trono del Infierno, maldita para siempre la codicia del Trono del Cielo." Here's to you, My Lord. May You forever rot on the Throne of Hell, cursed to forever covet the Throne of Heaven.
And with that said, he downed what was left in one gulp.
Sebastian sighed, -unable to envision himself enjoying an evening with the other professors that were mindlessly gallivanting around and indulging in the inferior of the vices, namely vanity&drinking. Sebastian had, however, managed to convince himself that the fresh air would do him some good, despite the fact that he much preferred the solitude of that damnable Hell Hole, Hogwarts. Hn, whatever. He could at least garner some amusement from bothering and, more importantly, tempting, the drunken bastards laying waste to themselves in the assorted pubs.
He entered the one, looking around for a suitable target when, from across the room, it hit him. He smiled, chuckling quietly to himself, as he set his sights on a man in a cloak, -a half dozen empty mugs already enlightening Sebastian as to the drunkards' intentions. He ordered another, stronger, drink for the stiff whilst making his way over, .. but upon hearing that phrase, Sebastian nearly spilt it. Szayel? What
( ... )
It was probably because of the alcohol, but instead of turning into a stiff rag doll as had been usual, Szayel pressed forward. It wasn't very long before he turned the chaste little kiss into a demanding, heated kiss, and...
CRACK!
...ended with Szayel pulling away and slapping Sebastian as hard as he could.
"Go 'way," he grumbled, snatching up the drink the demon had brought and downing half of it in one gulp. "I'm allowed this once a year."
Sebastian smiled, languidly, sinking back down into the seat only to find Szayel following, &forcibly laying unto him another kiss. It ended prematurely, however, as Sebastian soon felt the sudden tingle, as well as the inevitable sting, of his hand. It was one thing to be kissed, and another thing to be slapped, &honestly, Sebastian hadn't been expecting either.
He chuckled, though, blatantly ignoring the command. "I am not going anywhere." He sneered, watching as Szayel picked up the drink, -oh, it wouldn't be long now. "This. This. What is this." He absent mindedly fingered the burning print left on the side of his face.
"Is this stepping down from that pedestal so that you may, not only mingle with the filth of this despicable place, but drown your regrets &shortcomings in the temporary high of cheap alcohol, .." He looked absolutely disgusted. ".. my dear Perfektionist was but a delusion of mine. Pity. Now to whom do I owe the pleasure, Stranger."
The Three Broomsticksbattle_in_bloomMay 6 2010, 01:37:47 UTC
Sakura had agreed to meet Dionysus at the Three Broomsticks, and...honestly, was much less nervous than she previously would have thought she'd be. Maybe because she had some idea of where they both stood now, maybe because she'd pretty much completely embarrassed herself in front of him already and he was apparently still interested, or maybe just because...there were scarier things out there than not-dates with a friend. She wasn't sure of the reason, but she was grateful that her nerves had disappeared somewhere not with her for the time being as she waited for Dionysus.
Sakura saw Dionysus through the window before he entered, and smiled slightly to herself at the faint pause, checking himself before he entered. It was a side to him she'd never really seen before - something she probably wasn't meant to be seeing now, really. She found it endearing.
She turned as he approached, allowing her smile to widen a little as she saw him. She waved his apology away easily, absently gesturing to the chair next to her. "You're not that late, really. I haven't been here long at all." She cocked her head to the side slightly. "How are you?"
Re: The Shrieking Shack; Yuma & CynthiautterlybangableMay 8 2010, 19:41:23 UTC
Yuma was, per usual, tugged along by Cynthia, despite her protests. Some part of her enjoyed being pulled all over the place, but she was definitely not looking forward to exploring the Shrieking Shack, of all things. What was Cynthia thinking?
"Fun? Cynthia, I don't...know about this. I-isn't it haunted?" Oh, and then the dreaded please word. Yuma couldn't refuse that. "Why...are we going in here anyway?" Most people had dates at Madam Puddifoot's, or even the Three Broomsticks. The Shrieking Shack was, as far as she knew, not prime dating property.
Re: The Shrieking Shack; Yuma & CynthiautterlybangableMay 13 2010, 15:07:19 UTC
Yuma sighed and returned the hug, feigning at being more reluctant than she was. She never minded spending time with Cynthia, really, not even when she was being made to do something she didn't want to do. "Fine..." she pulled out of the hug and rubbed the back of her neck. "But why are we going in here? I don't get it."
She figured Cynthia was up to something, but she couldn't figure out what it was this time. Cynthia didn't even like scary things -- shops like Madam Puddifoot's or Honeydukes were more her speed, so she couldn't make sense of her plans.
