Flash was, in simple terms, pissed. She shouldn't be as upset about Renji leaving but, after Riku left as well, her boys were slowly dwindling down to nothing. She was now at the point of having nothing other than James Kirk to talk to and everyone with at least an eye and an ear could tell he was chasing after Jaina. Sucked when there was no one left to talk to.
She could do with some shopping. As much as she didn't show, she was still a girl and there was always something satisfying in buying something expensive. Even more satisfying if it wasn't her money. Professor Hughes wasn't teaching anymore so he didn't accept the money from the calendars...meaning Flash got all the profits and had yet to spend them.
So, looking around she finally headed to the Gladrags and noticed someone looking at the display window. Years of snooping and photography gave her the conclusion that he was one of the twins. Which one, she wasn't sure till she got a closer look but, didn't really matter since him staring at the stand was also making him block the doorway. So, walking up slowly Flash stood right behind him and raised herself on her toes.
"As nice as the display is," Flash leaned up to speak right in his ear, "You're standing in front of the door."
Hi back at ya :PdevilishkaoruMay 8 2010, 08:51:58 UTC
He wasn't paying all that much attention until someone had spoken about him standing in front of the door, which he didn't even realize he was in the first place. Stepping to the side slightly he laughed hand to the back of his head "Sorry I was too much into my thoughts that I didn't realize where I was standing anymore."
He had stepped to the side so that they could get into the store "I'm sorry again, I really am, I just tend to think a little too much while I'm at this store."
Frowning at him, Flash just shrugged and muttered, "Whatever." Before walking inside and bee lined straight for the expensive stuff. Silks, satins, velvets. It was most stuff that Flash had no knowledge of and just wore things she thought looked good on her. Most of the time, it was black. Black looked really good on her.
Picking out two robes, she looked back and forth between them, now at the point she hated in shopping. Glancing over at Kaoru, she sighed. Him thinking too much must have meant he liked clothes. "Hey, Thing One out of Two!" She called to him holding up the two things she grabbed to show him, "You like this kind of stuff, what do you think is better?"
Poking his head slightly into the shop, he had entered upon the woman entering first as he scanned the place, noting not much was, standing out to him, until he heard the woman ask his opinion of something as he looked at the two items she was holding up.
Deciding to answer the questions he stood there a finer on the chin, "Well to be perfectly honest the best one to go on you is the one on the left and it has more shape in the factor, also it brings a lot more to the figure whereas the other one was just designed to be simple and easy for those who aren't all that bothered."
Listening to him state his opinion, Flash gave him a flat look and spoke bluntly, "All I heard from that was 'yak yak the one on the left yak yak yak.'" But, nonetheless, it sounded like he did know what he was talking about so she placed the other one back on the rack and called up a cashier. "Thanks Thing One!"
His eye twitched slightly even though she was technically doing what Kaoru usually does and spoke bluntly about what she heard, but he was also twitching about the Nickname he had been given as he felt he should comment on that one "Ok I understand the clothes comment but I have a name you know, not Think One, a name."
"I could call you by your name but, sadly, can not unless I know what it is." Flash stated as she rummaged through her coin pouch for a few galleons. It was true. She knew everyone by face but not by name and so far today, neither of their names were exchanged yet. "Better hurry before I start getting rather fond of calling you Thing One of Two for the rest of the school year."
"My name is Kaoru Hitachiin, not Thing One, as you seem to like calling me," he had finally said his name as he folded his arms over his chest watching her closely "I said my name name, will you tell me yours, or will I have to make up a name for you to?"
Paying for the robe and putting it in a bag, she looked over at him and grinned, "Just call me Flash. Easy to remember, right?" She could have let him make up something else but, really, that was asking for trouble. "You planning on getting anything here?"
"I'm not sure as of yet, I have seen a few things that might be interesting, but I think I'll just buy things that my mother might like," he said as smile he his face as he went to a rack skimming through it before picking out a lovely colored robe that had caught his eye as he held it up "Like this, my mother would love to add more to this."
So he was there to buy something for his mother? That was kind of nice to hear considering her own relationship with her mother. Maybe she should attempt to make it better and offer to pick something up for her too.
No. Her mom would throw it out when she finds out she bought it at a wizard village. "Well hurry it up," Flash called to him, "Before I change my mind about offering to buy you lunch for the fashion advice."
He had already gone to the counter, making sure he had the right about as he turned his head slightly before paying, thanking the person at the counter before picking up the things he had got standing there "Well that's that job done, that should keep her, her usual occupied self."
"Your mom likes fashion?" She asked, just a general small talk topic that she had little interest in but, gave em something to talk about. Plus, Flash had mommy issues as she liked to call them so hearing how other parents were like had a mild interest to her.
"Yes in a sense she does, or else she wouldn't be a fashion designer in the first place, I guess," he said with a smile as he looked at her "Will you tell me a little about yourself?"
Despite knowing a few adults who would do a job they hate for the sake of good money, from the smile she could guess that Kaoru knew his mom geniunely loved her job. But asking about stuff about her.
"You...take pictures?" he asked questioningly as he went to the door of the store opening it standing there "You mean, as a hobby or a type of job you'd like to do in the future?"
