Roaming the library earlier in the evening, Al-Cid finally let out a bored yawn once the night settled upon the landscape. As he had promised his family and friends, Al-Cid's been hitting the books to catch up on all the lessons he missed as of late. It was a menial task to do but something to keep his mind off the troubles that brewed at home. Idly turning the pages of this weathered old spell book, the flamboyant Casanova opted to turn in for the night. Letting out a quiet yawn as he walked towards the librarian's desk nearby, something caught his attention from the window nearby.

"Hm?" Stretching his arms before him as he peeked out the window, Al-Cid gazed at the night sky for a moment in mild wonder. "Must have been a bird of some kind." He muttered.

Al-Cid was correct, yet incorrect at the same time. Because if he kept watching, he would see Max on her second fly around - and she was a bit closer this time. Close enough for the Hufflepuff to see a human body attached to those wings. A female body.

Gazing up at the moon for a few moments, Al-Cid was just about to walk away from the window once he spotted the wings and figure of a living angel. "What in the world...?" Blink his eyes not once but twice, this seventh year student couldn't believe what he saw.

"It's angel!" Or rather what he assumed to be an angel. At first, he figured that it was beast of some kind but the winged girl looked far too human to be a fiend. Rushing from window to window to try and get a better view at the 'angel' as she passed by, Al-Cid's gaze followed her all the way towards the Quidditch pit nearby.

"Eh? Now if that's an angel then why is she heading there?" It seems that sleep will have to wait for there are answers that need to be sought.

The pitch was bigger than it looked from a distance, Max never having been to a Quidditch match before. She flew around the hoops in curiosity, looking around and through them, wondering what they were for. It was obviously a game of some sort; Max added it to her ever growing list of things to look up about this place.

Max settled into what was easily the highest point of the whole area, what looked like an announcer's booth, sitting almost precariously on the ledge of the divider that kept those sitting inside from falling out. Wings stayed extended behind her, feathers ruffling lightly in the breeze. Aside from a view of the entire field, Max was pleasantly surprised to find it gave a rather nice view of the night sky. "How pretty," she said quietly, to herself; she was alone (as far as she knew), so she didn't mind giving in to her 'softer' side.

The week before had been fun, Sora decided, but also really exhausting. And while he did had energy out the ears, even Sora needed some time to himself on the odd occasion. Especially after he'd just spend seven days stopping tiny people from killing themselves, or others, or being killed by others.

So it was that he found himself on the Quidditch Pitch, broom in hand. Sure, it was after hours, but Sora didn't really mind if he was caught - which his optimistic attitude didn't really let him think he would. But he'd had detention before, and he was really good at earning house points when he needed to so even iff a Professor did see him, he could make up for the damage.

Mounting his broom easily, Sora kicked off. So exhilarating was the feeling of being in the air that he didn't even notice he wasn't alone.

Max was into it; almost a little too much. She heard nothing but the wind in her ears, felt nothing but her hair blowing around her face. Thankfully, her senses kicked in, her wings pulling her back just in time to see a boy on a broom whizz past her. "Woah!" cried the blonde on instinct, only to clamp a hand over her mouth.

Was she caught?

Oh man. Fang would kill her. Why was she so arrogant as to think she was the only one not sleeping tonight?

Sora was right in the middle of performing some ridiculously dangerous (and no doubt stupid) move on his broom, just for the sheer fun of it, when another person suddenly veered into his projected flight path.

A lesser flier might have caused a collision, or at least fallen off their broom, caught in the middle of a trick like that. But Sora hadn't spent six months training at Quidditch camp for nothing; the other person banked sharply (with remarkable skill, the part of his mind that took stock of that sort of thing noted) and Sora jerked his broom off to the left, fast enough to avoid the other flier, but hard enough to send him into a roll.

When he finally stabilised himself, he was grinning widely. "Wow!" he cried to the other person. "That was awesome!"

It was dark, and they were far away enough from each other at this point that Sora hadn't had a chance to notice anything abnormal about the other person's flight.

Max nodded slowly, flying close. "Look," she said, looking a little fearful, "I don't have any money or anything, but can you please, please keep quiet about this?" Now that she was close, Sora could definitely see her wings, the white feathers almost like a beacon in the darkness. Max had little issues seeing in the dark, mostly due to always being on the run at night or hiding. Truthfully, she should have been more alarmed, but she was already caught. Besides, it was just a student, not someone from the school. Maybe they'd just think she cast a spell or something.

Catty was already out in the Quidditch pitch by the time Max decided to start flying around. Actually, she was in the stands, lying on her back and staring up at the night sky, eyes trained on the moon. It had always been alluring to her, even before the one spell a few weeks ago, and it had become even more intoxicating because of the other memories resulting from the interesting spell-gone-wrong ( ... )

Crap!

Sorry!" she called out on instinct, only to swear inwardly and clap her hands. Max was literally, right above Catty, her wings flapping and keeping her afloat. Idiot!! If she'd just kept her mouth shut-!

The prefect wanted to say something. She wanted to be witty and not be freaked out that there was a girl hovering above her. No, not hovering.

She had wings. She was flying.

Still silent, Catty nodded, to herself rather than to the other girl. Well, she assumed it was a girl. It had sounded like a girl, right? She had to say something.

"What...?"

Oh, brilliant.

Okay Max, chill. Clearly this girl was more freaked out than you were. Slowly, Max flew downward, seeing the girl was wearing a red and gold scarf. Great; she was even in her house. Then again, Max was wearing a scarf the same colors. She shook her head slightly as her feet touched the top of one of the stand seats, landing there as her wings extended behind her.

"Tell on me for being out at night if you want," Max began, "Just don't tell anyone about these, okay?" She motioned back to her wings. "I didn't think anyone else would see..."

Flora had trouble sleeping that night, so the only logical thing that could be done at that was to take a walk outside in the courtyard. That late evening was nice despite the cold weather, the crickets helped layout the calm atmosphere of the area as did the plants. Only something else caught the Ravenclaw's eye that night.

....What was that?

Out of the corner of her eye Flora spotted what seemed to be a huge set of wings, only they were much too big for any normal sized bird in this region. Even a hawk. Curiosity got the best of the girl and she followed the pair of wings out into the Quidditch pitch, continuing to watch silently. That was no bird but rather....a human?

How peculiar.

Max didn't notice Flora, at first. She was too into her flying, performing spins and loops in the air, just enjoying being in her element. It was only when she did a low loop-de-loop that she moved her head and saw Flora.

Swearing inwardly, Max shifted herself upright, wings tensed like she would fly away at any moment. "Who are you?" she asked, only a few feet away from the other girl.

"Flora." Her voice remained calm but also had ring of politeness to it and though it didn't show really well, she was in slight awe at the sight she had just witnessed. A girl with wings, that had been something she had not expected to see. Flora's head cocked a little to the right letting a few strands of hair fall right into her eyes.

"You'll have to forgive my intrusion something caught my eye."
