More than likely unknown to Seras, Catty had taken a seat on the railing of the stairs leading down from girls' dorms, her tail resting peacefully in her lap, humming softly. It was the little scratching sounds and soft mouse noises that alerted her to the mouse. And while she may have been the sanest creature in Wonderland, and she may have still had a mostly human body, Catty was still a cat, and what better fun than to follow after the little Seras Mouse.
She made her way gracefully down the steps, following the trail at a slow pace. After all, it would be no fun to catch her before the game really began, and Catty had nothing better to do for awhile. She slid out of the entrance, the Fat Lady muttering something to her that she paid little attention to.
The mousie scurried down the hallway, keeping to the edges and sniffing along it the whole way. She wasn't aware she was being followed at all until she heard the voice. Panicking, she scampered further down the hallway and around the corner. It wasn't until then that she realized who the voice had belonged to.
Going back the other way, Seras poked only her little nose and black eyes around the corner, "Catty...?"
Catty's new ears (which were quite handy, to be quite honest, picking up all kinds of wondrous sounds) twitched at the little mousey voice, and her grin picked up as she saw the little mousey head pop up around the corner. How cute~
She crouched down on the floor, crawling closer to Seras until she was within arm's reach of Catty. She poked the little mouse. "Where, oh where, if the mouse scampering off to? Suuuuuuch a big place. You'll get lost unless you know where you're going~"
The mouse flinched when she was poked, rather terrified. Seras had been right, it was Catty. Only she was much more of a cat than ever. "Catty? Is that really you? I had hoped to find you..." she trailed off. Maybe she shouldn't tell her what she wanted after all. Could Catty really help her in the mad state she was in now?
