It had happened when Seras tried on the costume Catty had picked out for her and fussing and blushing over how short the skirt was. When told to try the ears on as well, she did as she was told and- POOF! Seras was no longer woman, but a very small dormouse.
The first thing Seras did in strange situations was panic. Today was no different. Letting out a squeak she scampered all across her dorm room, under beds, over clothes and Merlin knows what else. In the end, she had conveniently found herself on top of her own bed on top of her journal. She had to do something... anything. She couldn't write with a quill, that was for sure. And then the idea came to her... It had taken a good long while to write out her messages with her paws, but she managed. Later she'd regret the ink mess left on her bed but for now it was the best she could do.
Once done she knew she had to do something other than sit in her dorm. She needed to get to Apollo somehow... and sitting around wasn't going to get her any closer to him. Maybe Catty could help even though she seemed strange over the journal.
Getting her wits about her, Seras scampered off her bed, nosed her door opened and went down the steps of the Gryffindor girls dorms. Little did she know as she scampered across the Common Room and crawled out of the entrance just what kind of adventure she had in store for her.
