My co-worker and my imediate boss are not here today. Which leaves my bosse's boss who has her own room about 10 feet from my cube. Plently of time to close internet windows contianing questionable fanfiction. *devil horns*

OK, I have a question. How did you find the beta for your story that you're writing? And WHY can't I find fanfic (preferably about Harry/Hermione, yes, I'm embarrassing and I know it) that has proper grammar and spells words right?? Aside from you and my sister, anyway :P

Every piece of fanfic should be edited! Ick I hate it when people don't bother to have someone else look over their work. Usually it has a lot to do with the maturity of the writers and their editors. What websites are you looking at? There are several good potter fiction websites that are worth checking into. Pretty much any LJ fiction community worth it's weight will insist that every fic have an editor. So I'd check the forum info before delving into any of their fics. If you are looking to write one I can edit it...

No, I'm not looking to write one, but more to either beta one or at least find one to read that's halfway decent! :( I'll try looking on LJ a little more. I'm currently reading harrypotterfanfiction.com because there are so many there, but they're not that great, sadly.
