The anti-discrimination bill in Colorado, which would make it illegal to fire employees soely on the basis of sexual orientation, passed the state House yesterday.

In it, one could send a prewritten (with room for customization) email message to both of the Senators from a given state. Alan Littau was the retired chief trial lawyer of the NYC Taxi Commission, a former instructor at the NYU Law School, a tubist who performed with, among other groups, the NYC Bar Association Band, and my uncle. ( some more about him )

After a sober, and somewhat heated, discussion with my spouse, we have decided not to attempt to live in Canada. Even though we would be welcomed at my relatives' 200+ acre orchards (who doesn't like free slave labor?), it was deemed impractical for us.
