Funky flower(s) and some owie

So spring is here and some of the plants on my front porch are blooming. I came home the other day to find this funky looking thing that I can only guess is some sort of flower growing from one of my plants.

*squee* icons!!!!! Icons~! Pretty icons! Icons I voted for, too! I haven't seen the ones at the top--not familiar with the BSGstillness comm. But, I loved the A/R ones. Body language!!!!!!!! ok, will stop squeeing now. :D

I will take a picture of my plant, which is also currently in bloom. Eventually, I will learn how to post photos to my LJ. Then perhaps you can speculate on its species / how it reproduces? I love plants, but not an expert in botany, that's for sure.

Also, you should get band-aides that are specifically made for treating burns. They're blue on the inside and contain a magical watery substance that makes the burns heal faster. I got them for my dad last year when he burned himself on our stove. (Owww).

Wheee! Pretty flower. I hope you find out what it is so I can know too.

*kiss* That's a mom kiss, so it should make your hands all better!

PS: I haven't gotten to use this icon *points at my user pic* in forever, so you're the lucky recipient despite it not going with either your post or my reply.

*giggles at the icon* You're more than welcome to use what ever icon you want on me. ;o) Maybe the FFS sake can be for my stupidity for using my hands to pick up and spread the concrete despite the warnings on the package! And the "mom kiss" plus some aloe are starting to make my hands feel not so bad. I really should have thought to use aloe much earlier. Its so much better than the moisturizing lotions.

And if I find out what type of plant it is, I'll be sure to let you know. :o)
