So spring is here and some of the plants on my front porch are blooming. I came home the other day to find this funky looking thing that I can only guess is some sort of flower growing from one of my plants.
Aww, *hugs* I'm glad you like the icons and thanks for the votes. :o)
Unfortunately, I'm not a real plant expert. My knowledge is more generally how they grow and not so much about identifying specific species. Basically, my knowledge goes as far as what is taught in introductory botany, but I would be more than happy to puzzle of the photos with you. Maybe its a plant I'll recognize. And posting pictures to LJ is really easy. :o) If you have a plus account or higher, you can upload pictures to your LJ scrapbook and post that way. Also, when you make an entry, there is an option you can click that says "insert image" and it takes you to a pop-up window that gives you the option to upload a photo straight from your computer, or select a photo already in your Scrapbook. Then LJ takes care up putting in the proper html code to put the image in the entry.
As for the hands, I'll look into the burn bandaids. I just put some aloe on my hands a few minutes ago and that seems to be working better and lasting a bit longer than the moisturizing lotions I was using earlier. The skin is still a bit sore and flaky, but at least it doesn't have that sand paper feel anymore. *shudders* Folding laundry and hanging up closes was ikky with my hands like that. :S
