Preferred genres, prompts, scenarios you'd like to see in your gift: Time travel is always welcome. :) AUs are fantastic, especially ones that buld off little 'what if's in canon. Friendship fic is always a favourite. I really like fic that expands on minor characters and the details of the wizarding world. What's wizarding university like? Can you get a Mastery without being apprenticed? What are all the interesting magical jobs we don't get to hear about? What are other countries like in the HPverse? As for prompts -- Harry Potter is locked in a room with a bunch of Slytherins. Peter realises just how badly he's screwed up his life and, showing hidden reserves of courage and ( ... )

Preferred genres, prompts, scenarios you'd like to see in your gift: Let me start by saying that I love minor characters, so if none of the above options appeal, feel free to cast a wider net. I like fic that helps flesh out some of the places and concepts in the wizarding world that were glossed over in canon: politics, culture, etc. Pre-Voldemort Wars history is good, especially if you can tie it in with Muggle events. And a touch of humor never goes amiss ( ... )

I also love missing moments or retrospectives. Suggested scenarios (these are purely suggestions; please feel free not to use them if my prompts give you a better idea): something from Ginny's POV during DH (alternatively Dean or any of the DA); give Sirius a bit of fun during OotP; Ginny-Luna friendship fic set at any time in their lives; how does Neville cope with his new-found fame after DH?
