i got a 3rd dog on Sunday night. so i have THREE Now. that is the max!!!!
he is called Happy right now, but i will probably change his name. his
info is still up on the web. he is as cute as these pics show, but
he's actually thinner, esp in the belly area, which these pics don't
show. he needs to gain a little weight.

yep, just one right now. a king charles hoo-te-wah spaniel, "glitter." the 17 year-old newfie died last year.

17 -- very impressive for that size of dog. she must be doing something right.

Awwww!! He looks like a sweetie!!

Labs and Lab mixes make great pets (believe me,I know!!). They usually have gentle, easy-going, loving, loyal personalities.

Congratulations!!! :-)

i am no closer to naming him. i have gone through, like, 80 possibilities. i want a name that means peace, peaceful, love, friend, and/or adjunct, etc. often the names that fit that are names i don't like or wouldn't feel comfortable calling out loud. no userpic of him yet-- so i'm using cooper, my "former" dog.

new dog has some things i definitely want to ask vet about--
--favoring back right leg when he first gets up (seems stiff). also, when he sits, he pivots his waist and sits on his left hip. he doesn't seem to be in pain, so i wonder if it's an old injury.
--bumplike scab like things under that long, thick fur, which he hasn't sit still enough yet for me to fully investigate
--tartar on teeth, which makes me think he's older than the rescue group thought and told me
--coughing(?) occasionally at night--allergies?
--itching at night.
