Bang, Bang!

It's been a while since I updated. Rather than attempt a detailed and cohesive post about everything I've been up to for the last little while, I am, instead, going to give you some bullet-pointed highlights.

Good luck on the 10K. I'm so impressed with you!

Blogger and Wordpress both have totally free versions, if you're sick of sending money to LJ.

Don't be impressed until we know how I finish. ;)

LJ has a free version as well, which I've been using for the last week or so, since my account expired. The subscription just gets me some extra goodies (like access to a lot more, a lot nicer layouts, and way more user pics). There's also the convenience of the "Friends page." I think yours is the only blog I read that isn't hosted on LJ. Plus I have a history here--people know where to find me.

I enjoyed Penelope, too.

If Micah has to dress like Connor, you have to dress like Abby.

I could handle that. Her wardrobe's a bit more vibrant than mine, but if it meant that Micah hung around in waistcoats all the time, I think I could make the change. ;)

I realized, after I wrote the post, that Abby spends most of season 1, in her underwear.

Funny, but not what I meant. >;-)

I've heard of Little Britain, but haven't seen any of it. Spaced is actually a new one on me. I'll have to check them both out, though.

Thanks for the support on the 10k! My fingers are crossed I'll finish in a reasonable amount of time.

I *loved* Penelope. It really cheered me up when I needed it and helped me see magic again in the world when I was going through a hard time.

I can see how it would have that effect. I really enjoyed it, and thought it was a really neat twist on the Beauty & the Beast theme.
